At Breaking Bread Food Pantry we hand out 100 + boxes of food each week touching 350 lives.
We partner to help support several hand outs on a weekly basis. They are Hickory Grove CME Church, who feed approximately 30 families a week, Waypoint Regeneration Center, with 17 men in drug and alcohol recovery as well as 8 staff members, More Than Enough Ministries, they hand out 40-50 food boxes each week and Veterans and Community Outreach and C.C. Cloud Youth Center, who provide an after school program that feeds 16 children, 13 teen moms with a combined total of 9 children and 12-15 walk-in veterans weekly. We also support several Individual ministries that support shut-ins and fixed income older families.. All of these added together comes to over 1,000 lives touched each month, all in the Gainesville, Hall County Area.
Because of today’s economy there is a greater number of families in need. We have to turn people away almost daily due to lack of provisions. We are willing to do much more, but we need your help. Your gift would help provide food for a family that other wise would have to go hungry.
Matthew 25: 35-36 For I was hungry and ye gave me food; I was thirsty and ye Gave me drink; and I was a stranger and ye took me in; I Was naked and ye clothed me; I was sick and you visited me; I was in prison and you came to me.
Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.* Luke 6:38
